The eko24.net DNS Propagation Checker helps you compare DNS responses for a domain across multiple resolvers. It is useful after changing DNS records, moving a website, updating mail settings or troubleshooting domain configuration.

DNS Records You Can Check

Check the main DNS record types and understand what each result means:

A Record: shows the IPv4 address connected to the domain.
AAAA Record: shows the IPv6 address connected to the domain.
CNAME Record: shows when a hostname points to another hostname instead of directly to an IP address.
MX Record: identifies the mail servers responsible for receiving email for the domain.
NS Record: shows the authoritative name servers responsible for the domain's DNS.
TXT Record: contains text-based DNS information often used for domain verification, SPF and other configuration purposes.

The checker compares answers from Google Public DNS, Cloudflare DNS and the server DNS resolver. If the values are different, a recent DNS change may still be cached by some resolvers. DNS updates do not necessarily appear everywhere at the same time.

What Does DNS Propagation Mean?

When a DNS record changes, cached copies do not necessarily update everywhere at the same moment. Comparing independent resolver responses can help you see whether the new value is already being returned consistently.
