The EKO24 Emergency Fund Calculator estimates a target reserve by multiplying your essential monthly expenses by the number of months of coverage you select.
Include expenses you would still need to pay during an income interruption, such as housing, food, utilities, transportation, insurance, health costs and required debt payments.
If you already have emergency savings, enter the current amount. The calculator subtracts it from the target and estimates the remaining funding gap.
You can also choose how many months you want to take to reach the target. The calculator divides the remaining gap by that period to provide a simple monthly saving estimate.
